Financial Officers

Financial Officers and Executives must be capable of addressing a seemingly endless range of responsibilities. They must understand different accounting standards, stay on top of tax regulations such as transfer pricing, understand currency hedging, ensure compliance, and manage the capital requirements of the local organization. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO), in particular, is often tasked with significant reporting responsibilities and the oversight of transformational and far-reaching initiatives such as Factory 4.0 / Internet-of-Things and ERP selection and implementation. Ultimately, the top financial executive must not only lead the financial team but also generate insights for the rest of the executives, stand by as the CEO’s closest advisor and act as a confidante of the executives and shareholders ultimately accountable for the success of the subsidiary.
