The company already had a strong, business development-oriented country manager who had identified the market and growth potential. TH Bender was asked to recruit the whole team supporting the local CEO, including engineering, product development, finance, sales, human resources, and technical communications. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the CEO left shortly thereafter, but the team was able to continue its work without missing a beat until a new CEO was found. The company was able to significantly increase its valuation for subsequent financing rounds and is now a solid #2 behind the American leader.
