A leading European manufacturer of high-quality mechanical equipment for plant and process engineering (blowers, compressors, and similar products) is actively looking to recruit a forward-thinking, strategic, and hands-on VP of Sales to direct all sales and business development activities of the company’s US subsidiary based out of New York. This executive shall provide leadership in all aspects of sales and business development to scale up the operations and guide the company’s expansion in the targeted markets in North America. He/She will be working closely with the global executive management headquartered in Europe and shall represent the company in all external affairs relating to sales, such as trade shows and conferences. 

The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or in any related discipline; a graduate degree (MBA) would be desirable. Applicants must have at least seven (7) years of proven leadership experience in sales, business development, and key account management coupled with sales team leadership and budget responsibility in a high-tech manufacturing environment. A background in turbomachinery, centrifugal fans, and/or blowers or similar equipment is a plus.  Sales experience in highly technical, engineered products sold into multiple channels, markets, and applications is strongly preferred.
