Our client is a high-energy player in the consumer goods industry. With current revenues around the half-billion USD mark, the group is experiencing continued significant growth in the e-commerce space.

Our client is actively recruiting a strategic, hands-on, and proactive senior finance leader to build the finance function from the ground up and support the general operational development of the Company. We are looking for a motivated, tech-savvy and energetic doer personality. While on the SVP-level and reporting to the founder, responsibilities in this role include hands-on finance and accounting tasks while staffing the team and building accounting policies and systems. This SVP of Finance will work closely with a motivated and very dynamic company ownership team on general operations issues to include providing data analytics for resource allocation and strategic guidance for general business needs driving substantial growth.

Demonstrated experience building from scratch a finance group that structured significant revenue growth in a fast-paced start-up or consumer goods company in an e-commerce environment is required. Someone tech-driven who thrives in a dynamic, fast-moving environment and wants to make a real impact is best suited for this role. This position is located in Hoboken, NJ. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related discipline is required; a graduate degree (MBA) would be desirable. Additional qualifications such as CPA or CFA certification are also preferred. Minimum of seven (7) years of leadership experience in accounting and financial management and at least seven (7) years of EDI knowledge and strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principals is required for this role.
