A leading global designer and manufacturer of solar cells, modules and custom‐designed solar energy solutions is actively recruiting a proactive, strategic, and results-oriented Director of Utility Sales to lead the overall sales, business development, and marketing activities for the Company’s utility solutions in the Americas. This role’s primary responsibility is to grow and manage large commercial and utility-scale client base in the NAFTA (USA, Canada, Mexico) PV market.

The ideal candidate is someone with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field is preferred. A graduate degree (MBA) would be a plus. At least five (5) years of solar experience is required for this role. Proven experience in B2B sales, business development and/or key account management within the renewable energy or solar industry is a must. Experience selling to commercial, industrial and utility-scale clients is a prerequisite for a successful career in this position. Candidates must have demonstrated ability to successfully manage complex contractual negotiations involving multiple stakeholders, as well as the ability to identify the decision maker. Previous experience managing teams and developing sales professionals would be an advantage.
