A leading global automotive supplier is actively seeking a strategic, hands-on, and dynamic HR Director for its facility in Alabama. This executive will supervise a team of over 200 employees and provide leadership in all aspects of human resources, including Employee Relations, Compensation / Benefits, Payroll, Workforce Planning, Recruitment, and Labor Relations, etc. This position is the top HR executive position in the United States and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead the human resources management and development of the organization as it grows in the United States. He/She will also play an important role as a key business partner and member of the plant leadership team.

Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Psychology, or any related discipline is required; a graduate degree (MBA) is a plus. Candidates must have at least five (5) years of leadership experience in human resources coupled with experience in the automotive/high volume manufacturing environment. He/She must have proven track-record working independently, self-sufficiently, and with little supervision, ideally in an international framework. The ideal candidate must have advanced knowledge of, and experience with local, state, and federal labor laws, as well as proven expertise in fundamental HR concepts and trends. Deep know-how in payroll software and other HR-related software programs would be an advantage.
